This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one. Our much loved son Chris, who was born Christopher Thomas Burke in Hillingdon Hospital on January 31st 1983, he changed his surname to Mills in 1997 and became known to many as MILLSY. He sadly passed away on January 3rd 2006, cruelly murdered at the age of 22 by so called 'friends' Gavin Ward and Noel Moran. We will remember him with pride and honour forever. Our memories of his smile can never fade with photos of him everywhere and always in our hearts. He was a GOOD person with a heart of gold. Forgiving and fun, he never really grew up and had a head full of dreams and notions. He never had it easy and didn't ask for much, no gold dripping off everywhere, he never owned a car and rarely had money but he appreciated life and lived it to the full. His loyalty to friends never wavered and cost him his life. His ideas for silly inventions still bring a smile to us all. He was so loved, by us his family and Hayley his partner and all who knew him. So polite and well mannered with a liking for striped tops, mobile phones and trainers. With jet black spikey hair, gorgeous and he knew it. "Tall, dark, handsome and very fit " in his own words. So eager to be liked and as soft as treacle. He told a story with his arms and legs aswell as his voice. He was gorgeous inside and out, Known as Millsy, loved by us all. What a lad, what a son, what a waste, what a crime.
Thanx to all who submit a tribute, light a candle, add a photo or just look at this site. A very big Thank you for all the cards sent and the flowers left at the site of his killing. Should anybody have any more photos to share, please feel free to e-mail me (Chris' Mum) on gill.mills@yahoo.co.uk
Our heartfelt thanx to all who attended Chris' funeral on Friday 31st March at St. Martin's Church, at Cherry Lane Cemetery and Uxbridge Football Club.
The floral tributes were fantastic and as colourful as he was, thank you everybody, especially Jon Baker !! A very special 'Thank you' to Luke and Joe for their wonderful gift and Danni and Mark for their special touch.
Please feel free to visit his resting place down Shepiston Lane, you are all very welcome. Leave a little message on his tree or just sit for a while and listen to his wind chime (it's the noisiest one there) Maybe sit on the bench that you all brought and have a beer with him and remember him with a smile. If he ever made you laugh or smile.........believe me, he still can.
Sleep tight and sweet dreams Chris We'll all love and miss you forever God Bless You xxxxxxxxxxx
